Semi是夹在Townhouse和独立屋的中间产品,空间比Townhouse大一些,隐私好一些,价格又比独立屋便宜一些。
这种产品,在郊区相对少一些,很多Semi其实只是End Unit Townhouse。因为区域新,大型社区以独立屋为主,小社区以Townhouse为主。而在市内,在过去大家都不大富裕,城区还没有大量外扩的时候,Semi属于相比独立屋更经济实惠的产品,所以超过50-80年的Semi在市区内很常见。有的很多经过几次易手,有的在不同时期建造,内部装修和外部建筑风格也都在变化中。
总的来说,这是一个华人接触较少的房型,整个GTA来说,买的人华人占比肯定更加偏少,那么交易情况也更能反应本地人的购房活动情况。
